FBiH Government Sends Financial Police to Development Bank!

SARAJEVO (Patria) - The FBiH Government today accepted the information on problems in the operations of the Development Bank of FBiH (RBFBiH), prepared by the Federal Ministry of Finance, and tasked the federal prime minister, as the president of the Assembly of this bank, to urgently convene a session of the RBFBiH Assembly in accordance with the powers defined by law.

The Assembly would consider the report on the operations of the Development Bank for 2016 and appoint the missing member of the Supervisory Board in accordance with the conducted procedure.
 
The Supervisory Board of the Development Bank is tasked to act on the conclusions of the Government of the Federation of BiH and urgently appoint acting executive directors.

The Financial Police and the Banking Agency of FBiH are tasked to, within their competencies, carry out a control of the operations of the Development Bank within 60 days and submit reports to the Federal Government, writes the Patria agency.
 
The information considered today will be forwarded to the Audit Committee of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH for information, so that it can request an independent assessment of the situation from the Audit Office of FBiH institutions.
 
The FBiH Prime Minister will submit the Report on the operations of the Development Bank of FBiH for 2016 to the Parliament of FBiH.
 
In today's discussion, it was emphasized that the Government of the Federation of BiH, acting as the Assembly of the Development Bank of BiH, as well as the federal prime minister, also the president of the Assembly of this bank, have so far undertaken necessary activities to eliminate observed irregularities in operations, with the aim of ensuring the legality of the Bank's operations and all its bodies, and will persist in this direction using all powers and available possibilities.
