SARAJevo, (Patria) - The FBiH Government adopted the proposal of the conclusion of the Federal Ministry of Finance, following the initiative of the FBiH Tax Administration, which stipulates the deadline for submitting applications from Article 4, paragraph (8) of the Law on Mitigating Negative Economic Consequences, which reads: "Business entities and sole proprietors who have not submitted applications for subsidies and tax returns within the deadline according to the regulations on contributions and regulations on income tax may do so by submitting them no later than the 20th of the current month for the previous month".
As stated, the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH proposed an extension of the deadline for submitting applications for contribution subsidies in May this year, and the Government of the Federation of BiH passed a conclusion extending the deadline for submitting Form ZSD for April until May 29, 2020, while for other months the deadline is until the tenth of the month for the previous one.
Due to a certain number of ZSD Forms that were not submitted to the competent tax offices within this deadline, and the business entity meets all conditions for subsidizing contributions for mandatory insurance, in accordance with the Law on Mitigating Negative Economic Consequences, and considering that the goal and spirit of the law is to help taxpayers, the opinion was expressed that it is justified and necessary to extend the deadline by ten days, i.e., to accept applications that were not submitted within the prescribed deadline.
