FBiH Government Initiates Bidding Process for Oil Concessions, Promotions in Sarajevo and London

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Government of the Federation of BiH and the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry (FMERI), the competent authority responsible for granting licenses for the exploration, development and production of liquid and gas hydrocarbons in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, have announced that they are initiating a bidding process for obtaining exploration and production rights in the following blocks: Pannonian Basin (Block BiHPo1; Block BiHPo2; • Block BiHTz) Dinarides: Block BiHD1

In order to showcase the potential of the aforementioned blocks, FMERI announces that it will hold Promotions to present the legal and fiscal obligations and conditions, as well as the technical potential of the offered blocks.

Promotions will be held in Sarajevo and London.

In the capital of BiH, the promotion is scheduled for October 1st this year at the Chamber of Commerce of FBiH, and registration is open until Friday, September 27th.

In London, the promotion will be held on October 9th, at The British Museum, Great Russell St, Bloomsbury, London WC1B 3DG. Registration is open until Monday, September 25th.

Representatives of FMERI will also be present at the CEEC (Central and Eastern Europe and Caspian Region) Scout Meeting, which will be held in Ankara from October 3rd to 6th, 2019, and at the Balkans Petroleum Summit from October 24th to 25th in Montenegro.

In addition, the Data Room will be immediately available at the Federal Institute for Geology in Sarajevo.
