SARAJevo, (Patria) -The FBiH Government, at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Trade, has approved the wholesale price of natural gas for distribution companies in the Federation of BiH, starting from 1.1.2022, which amounts to 665 KM/1,000 Sm3, or 0.665 KM/Sm3. This price of natural gas does not include value added tax.
The request for the new price was submitted by Energoinvest d.d. Sarajevo, and after analysis, the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry gave its opinion.
At the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, the validity of the established temporary tariff for the Transport System Operator has been extended until 31.12.2022.
The new increase is almost 15 percent, and Energoinvest has informed users, including Sarajevogas, that they will not be able to increase supply during January and February, which means that Sarajevogas will leave Toplane-Sarajevo without gas and that company will switch to alternative fuels in order to ensure the supply of heat energy for more than 53,000 users.
