FBiH Government: Nermin Nikšić's claims about paying for vaccines to Serbia are untrue

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - For the truthful informing of the public, and regarding today's statement by the Member of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić, the FBiH Government issued a press release.

"It is not true that the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has paid any money to Serbia for the vaccination of BiH citizens. It is true that the Government of the Federation of BiH is in negotiations with all manufacturers and has concluded an agreement for the procurement of 500,000 Sinopharm vaccines.

We demand that the Member of Parliament Nermin Nikšić publish the evidence he mentioned at the session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has already caused great public unrest. Otherwise, we demand that the Member of Parliament Nikšić apologize to the Government of the Federation of BiH and the citizens he misled. We remind you that governments are responsible for procuring vaccines all over the world, and that vaccines have become a tool of geopolitics, which has unfortunately been shown in our region as well. And we repeat that the Government of the Federation of BiH is negotiating with all manufacturers, from the USA, through China, to Russia," the reaction states.
