FBiH Government: 200 million KM for two credit-grant programs for SMEs and crafts

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The FBiH Government today, at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, adopted two credit-grant programs, totaling 200 million KM.

The first program is intended for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, and the total amount of guarantees that the Development Bank of FBiH will approve from the Guarantee Fund is 150,000,000 KM.

The second program relates to craftsmen and other independent business activities. In this case, the total amount of guarantees that the Development Bank of FBiH will approve from the Guarantee Fund is 50,000,000 KM.

For both programs, the amount of guarantees is reduced by the amount of guarantees issued by May 31, 2021, under credit-grant programs, and the guarantees from the fund for each individual loan amount to 50 percent of the principal loan amount. The goal of the programs is to support the initiation of new business activities, the growth and development of existing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as crafts and independent business activities, to increase competitiveness, integrate innovations into business, and preserve the existing level of employment, and create new jobs.

The Fund's guarantees are intended for financing current liquidity (payment of salaries, taxes and contributions, etc.), working capital, and investments in fixed assets.
