Believers in BiH collecting money for Syrian refugees after Friday prayer

In mosques across Bosnia and Herzegovina today, believers will collect money after Friday prayer for refugees from the Middle East, who in recent days have been fleeing war horrors towards Europe, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

The Islamic Community of BiH reminded that we are witnessing one of the biggest refugee crises in Europe and the world, as well as the trials that these people are going through on their journey.

- Columns of refugees evoke painful memories of our not-so-distant past when we ourselves were faced with suffering and persecution from our country and land - stated the IC of BiH, adding that they expect believers to show their solidarity with the suffering people and demonstrate humanity in action, writes Patria.
