Vispak increases export share in total revenue to 30 percent

Bosnian food industry Vispak d.d. Visoko, with foreign market realization of 8,860,000 KM since the beginning of 2014, has increased its export revenue by 20 percent compared to the same period last year as of today. This has increased the share of exports in the company's total revenue to 30 percent, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

This practically means that the brands Zlatna džezva, Begova čorba, Tarhana, Tajna, Laganini, Club čokolada, and others, in conditions of fierce competition with leading global companies, have managed to secure additional positions, higher turnover, and greater customer favor.

“It is estimated that by the end of 2014, we should achieve total exports amounting to 11,000,000 KM, which would mean a continuation of the export growth trend. The increase in exports that Vispak records year after year provides additional stability and is a condition for even stronger development of the company as a whole,“ said Haris Salihbašić, export manager at Vispak d.d. Visoko, on this occasion.

The standard best market is the USA. Zlatna džezva has been included in the retail chains of the world's largest retail network Walmart, and sales are also conducted through Amazon.com and Walmart.com. Croatia follows, and after Bosnia and Herzegovina and the USA, the most authentic Bosnian coffee, Zlatna džezva, is consumed the most in this neighboring country. Vispak also achieves significant results in Croatia with the sale of Club chocolates.

Good results have been achieved in the Slovenian market. This year, business cooperation with Mercator Slovenia has been established, and efforts are underway to list Vispak's products in the retail chains Spar and Tuš in Slovenia. The first significant delivery of chocolates and teas was made to the market of Kosovo this year.

„With a significant partner from Croatia, we are working on achieving a joint presence in the markets of Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, and Albania. The goal is to utilize existing logistics and distribution channels. At the same time, activities are underway to establish business cooperation with Russia. Exports to Canada have also been intensified,“ states Salihbašić.

Vispak exports to 22 countries worldwide across four continents. Since December 2010, Vispak has been part of the AS GROUP, which employs 2,700 workers and within which, in addition to Vispak d.d. Visoko, the companies AS d.o.o. Jelah, Klas d.d. Sarajevo, Sprind d.d. Sarajevo, Mlin i pekara Ljubače, Napredak d.d. Tešanj, Fortitudo d.o.o. Travnik, and Vemal d.d. Tešanj operate.
