Vispak installs new equipment with roaster, production of Zlatna džezva to be increased

Bosnia and Herzegovina's food industry Vispak d.d. Visoko and its most famous brand Zlatna džezva, on the occasion of its 43rd anniversary, announced at the beginning of April new investments in expanding production capacities in Visoko, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The investment is worth 5 million KM, and it is being finalised these days, thus Vispak will double its current capacities for the production and packaging of Zlatna džezva.

This morning, new equipment with a roaster was successfully installed in the Vispak company in Visoko.

Today, Vispak employs 180 workers, 40 of whom have a university degree, and exports to 25 countries worldwide on four continents.

In the year when AS Group became the majority owner of Vispak, on 8 December 2010, this company had an annual revenue of 18 million KM. In 2014, Vispak ended its operations with a total turnover of nearly 36 million KM. Revenues and production were doubled, and Zlatna džezva became the number one coffee by revenue in BiH, as well as by consumer loyalty.

In a short time, the top management of AS Group managed to return Vispak's brands to store shelves, and the return on investment came after only three years.

Vispak d.d. Visoko was founded on 7 April 1972 as an integral part of Velepromet, one of the largest retail chains in the former Yugoslavia at the time.
