Vispak certified with environmental protection management standard

Vispak company has completed its first certification of the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015 standard and has thus fulfilled another condition from the Credit Agreement with the German Development Bank DEG – (Deutsche Investitions-und Entwicklungsgesellschaft) which was signed this year.

The ISO 14001:2015 standard is a system created to enable legal entities to take care of their environment and thus demonstrate their ecological responsibility and impact. This provides them with the opportunity to meet the expectations of their clients and legally defined legal and regulatory requirements in an even more efficient way.

"Vispak company is the first company from BiH recognized by the German Development Bank DEG - Deutsche Investitions-und Entwicklungsgesellschaft, and a Credit Agreement was signed in 2021. The management's commitment to investing in the implementation and certification of the standard had a significant impact on DEG's decision to sign this Agreement, which allows Vispak company to continue its continuous work on improving automation processes and strengthening its operations, both in the domestic and foreign markets," stated Nina Bijedić-Mujanović, director of Vispak company.

Rational consumption of natural resources and prevention of environmental pollution is a current topic today, and every organization should participate in it. The "green thread" permeates everything, from suppliers to the organization, and then to the users. Environmental requirements are increasingly being expressed regarding production technology, packaging, recycling, etc. Protecting the planet is not just a global or national obligation, but the task of each of us, as all citizens can contribute to environmental protection, resource conservation, and mitigating the effects of climate change through conscientious and responsible behavior.
