(Patria) - The international legal team representing WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange announced that the High Court in London will announce its key decision today at 10:30 AM, or 11:30 AM our time.
"If Assange is denied leave to appeal, he will face extradition to the US as domestic remedies will be exhausted," announced the Association of Journalists of Serbia (UNS), which points out that three scenarios are possible today.
The first is that the panel of two judges denies leave to appeal on all grounds. In that case, all legal actions in the United Kingdom are exhausted.
The second is that the panel grants leave to appeal on all grounds, then the High Court will consider Assange's appeal.
The panel of two judges grants leave to appeal on one or some of the grounds - this would be the third scenario. The High Court would then hear the appeal on those grounds, while remedies would be exhausted on others.
