Over 150 raids and new arrests in France

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls confirmed that at least 150 raids were carried out across France. French police seized an arsenal of weapons in large raids that took place in the early morning hours across the country, reports the Patria News Agency.

The French Prime Minister warned that terrorists had planned more attacks before those carried out on Friday in Paris.

- We know that attacks were planned and are still being planned, not only in France but also in other European countries, Valls said.

The largest raids were carried out in the Lyon area, ABC reports, where police arrested five more people and seized a rocket launcher, several Kalashnikov rifles, and pistols.

Today at noon, on the last day of the three-day mourning period, a minute of silence will be observed across France to honor the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris, and flags at public institutions will be flown at half-mast.

President Francois Hollande declared a three-day national mourning and state of emergency after Friday's attacks in which 129 people were killed and 350 injured, and he is scheduled to address both houses of parliament today at 4 PM, writes Index.
