Vilić at the Convention of European Police Chiefs

A delegation of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, led by Director Mirsad Vilić, participated in the Convention of European Police Chiefs held at the EUROPOL headquarters in The Hague on September 24 and 25, reports the BiH news agency Patria. 

The main topic of this year's Convention, attended by high-ranking police representatives from all European Union member states as well as countries with which EUROPOL has cooperation agreements, was the fight against organized crime with an emphasis on cybercrime, illegal migration, and the fight against terrorism.

During the Convention, Director Vilić held several bilateral meetings with police chiefs from regional countries, as well as multilateral meetings on the topic of fighting organized crime. He also visited the BiH Embassy in The Hague and met with BiH Ambassador Ahmet Halilović, with whom he discussed cooperation between the Netherlands and Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly regarding inter-police cooperation.
