Vilić and Andreyevich: Successful Cooperation between the Directorate and the Federal Police of Brazil

Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH Mirsad Vilić received today for a working visit the Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Brazil in Sarajevo Ruiz Mara Andreyevich, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria. 

During the visit, the Director of the Directorate briefly presented the competencies of the Directorate as well as ongoing activities. The discussion also covered the previous cooperation, given that Bosnia and Herzegovina has signed an Agreement on Police Cooperation with the Federal Republic of Brazil. 

Andreyevich assessed the previous cooperation as extremely successful, with special emphasis on international police cooperation and the cooperation achieved between the Directorate and the security forces of the Federal Republic of Brazil during the FIFA 2014 World Cup, held in Brazil.

At the end of the meeting, Andreyevich presented a certificate of appreciation to Ismar Brkić, an official of the Directorate who, on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina, participated in the work of the International Police Cooperation Centers of the Federal Police of Brazil during the FIFA 2014 World Cup.
