EU Foreign Affairs Council on Western Balkan countries' alignment with EU foreign and security policy

(Patria) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, will participate, at the invitation of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, in a meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the EU Member States and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Western Balkan countries within the framework of the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) session, which will be held on June 24, 2024, in Luxembourg.

The meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the EU Member States and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Western Balkan countries will discuss cooperation and challenges in foreign and security policy, as well as the gradual integration of the countries of the region regarding alignment with the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy.

During his visit to Luxembourg, on the sidelines of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting, it is planned that the BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elmedin Konaković, will attend a reception organized for the meeting participants by the Grand Duke of Luxembourg Henri, and then an informal dinner hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel.
