NEW YORK, (Patria) - The UN Security Council did not adopt the Russian draft resolution that would condemn the US, French and British strikes on Syria.
Russia, Bolivia and China voted in favor of the resolution, eight countries were against, and one abstained.
The draft had five paragraphs and expressed "grave concern" over the "aggression" against a sovereign state which, according to Moscow, violated "international law and the UN Charter."
Nine votes were needed for adoption.
