Council of Ministers for a more developed economy must implement 14 strategic goals

The Council of Ministers of BiH, at the proposal of the Directorate for Economic Planning, adopted the Strategic Framework for Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2015-2018, which represents a kind of guiding portfolio of strategic goals for the preparation of the Medium-Term Work Program of the Council of Ministers, reports the Patria News Agency.

- The Council of Ministers of BiH wants Bosnia and Herzegovina to be an institutionally developed, more competitive and dynamic economy with greater opportunities to achieve sustainable economic growth with more and better quality jobs and stronger social cohesion, based on the development of appropriate skills and business environment, which, according to the Strategic Framework, is achievable by implementing 14 strategic goals - it was announced from the Council of Ministers.

The strategic goals are: macroeconomic stability, improving the development of a competitive economic environment, human resource development, increasing industrial competitiveness, improving culture and creative sectors, balanced regional development, improving environmental management and developing environmental infrastructure, while increasing resilience to climate change, faster and more efficient development of agriculture and the rural sector, development of energy potentials, especially renewable energy sources and increasing energy efficiency, increasing employment opportunities, promoting inclusivity in education, reducing poverty and social exclusion, improving healthcare, accelerating the transition process and capacity building.
