The BiH Council of Ministers, at its 67th extraordinary telephone session, unanimously adopted the Decision on Criteria for the Allocation of Funds from the Grant for the Implementation of Bilateral Cooperation Projects in the Field of Science based on International Agreements for 2025, upon the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
The grant funds in the amount of 100,000 KM are foreseen in the budget of the Ministry of Civil Affairs for 2025 under the item "Current Transfers and Grants", with the aim of strengthening scientific research cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and countries with which it has concluded bilateral agreements in the field of science, namely Austria, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Turkey. The adoption of this decision aims to contribute to increasing the mobility of domestic researchers in the field of science and the visits of researchers from these countries, as well as to increasing the number of applications from domestic researchers for calls within the European Union framework programs in the field of research and innovation, as well as for other international scientific research public calls.
Public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina have the right to submit applications for the allocation of funds under the call of the Ministry of Civil Affairs for bilateral cooperation projects, in accordance with the criteria defined by this decision.
The Ministry of Civil Affairs will publish a call on its official website after this decision enters into force, while a notice about the publication of the call will be published in three daily newspapers distributed throughout the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
