COUNCIL OF MINISTERS Internal Policy and Economy Committees Established

(Patria) - The BiH Council of Ministers, at its first session in the new convocation, adopted individual decisions on the appointment of the chairpersons and members of the Internal Policy Committee and the Economy Committee, and standing bodies of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina necessary for normal and functional operation.

According to the Law on the Council of Ministers of BiH, before discussion at a session of the Council of Ministers of BiH, all issues within the jurisdiction of BiH ministries that fall within the scope of the committees must be discussed at committee sessions beforehand. The Internal Policy Committee will be chaired by the Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defence Zukan Helez, and his deputy is the Minister of Justice Davor Bunoza. Members of the Committee are the Minister of Civil Affairs Dubravka Bošnjak, the Minister of Security Nenad Nešić, the Minister for Human Rights and Refugees Sevlid Hurtić, the Director of the Directorate for European Integration Edin Dilberović, the Director of the Office for Legislation Džemail Ćibo, the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Robert Vidović, the advisor to the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers Nikola Lovrinović, as well as the coordinator of Brčko District BiH in the Council of Ministers of BiH Miroslav Gavrić, without voting rights.

The Economy Committee will be chaired by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Staša Košarac, while his deputy is the Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmedin Konaković. Members of this committee are the Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Finance and Treasury Zoran Tegeltija, the Minister of Communications and Transport Edin Forto, the Director of the Directorate for European Integration Edin Dilberović, the Director of the Office for Legislation Džemail Ćibo, the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Robert Vidović, the advisor to the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers Niko Duvnjak, as well as the coordinator of Brčko District BiH in the Council of Ministers of BiH Miroslav Gavrić, without voting rights.

The chairpersons of the committees and their deputies rotate in the position of chairperson on an annual basis, and in the event of the minister's absence from a committee session, they are replaced by the deputy minister, with the written authorization of the minister.
