At its last session, the Council of Ministers of BiH, considering the increased air pollution in larger BiH cities, tasked the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH, the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH (UIO) and other competent institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina with undertaking urgent activities to amend the acts regulating the import of cars into Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of banning the import of vehicles with engines that do not meet the „Euro 4“ standard.
Namely, enormous air pollution has lasted almost the entire December, and yesterday in the Sarajevo Canton a regulation banning the traffic of vehicles without a Euro 3 engine came into force.
