Council of Ministers of BiH adopts 2023 Reform Programme, 2024 version to be adopted in January

(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina at today's extraordinary session adopted the "Proposal of the 2023 Reform Programme of BiH", proposed by the Commission for Cooperation with NATO.

Sending the Reform Programme, i.e. the Annual National Programme (ANP), is an obligation of BiH on its path to NATO within the Membership Action Plan (MAP).

The last time the Reform Programme was sent to NATO was in 2022, for 2021 and 2022.

Minister of Defence of BiH Zukan Helez said that the Reform Programme for 2024 should also be adopted in January.

"This would catch us up with our obligations. It means that BiH has an accelerated path towards the NATO alliance and fulfills the obligations it is required to meet on the path to NATO membership," Helez told avaz.ba.
