Council of Ministers of BiH approves 9.7 million KM for election implementation, Draft Budget also adopted

(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH has adopted a Special Decision to lend 9.7 million KM to the Central Election Commission of BiH for the implementation of elections, Istraga.ba has learned.

The money will be borrowed from RAK, i.e., from the revenue from GSM licenses.

The Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH proposed the Decision on approving the temporary use of part of the funds from licenses for the use of radio frequency spectrum for providing services via mobile access systems in the amount of 9.7 million KM. Initially, the CEC requested 12.5 million KM, so it is unclear how the remaining money will be secured.

The Council of Ministers of BiH also adopted the Draft Budget for 2022.
