Council of Ministers of BiH: Budget for 2020, appointments of SIPA and RAK directors

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Draft Law on the Budget of the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2020 will be on the agenda of the Council of Ministers of BiH today, proposed by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.

Numerous reports on the work of institutions, as well as work programs for 2020, are also on the agenda, as well as appointments within the jurisdiction of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on which consensus has not yet been reached. Given that SDA proposed the appointment of Selma Cikotić as Minister of Security, SNSD stated that directors must first be appointed where procedures have been completed, primarily the directors of SIPA and RAK, where candidates are close to SNSD, and then Cikotić's candidacy will be considered.

The Council of Ministers should consider the Proposal for the appointment of the Director of the Agency for Education and Professional Training, SIPA, and RAK.

Ministers will consider the Proposal for a decision on allocating space to the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the purpose of establishing a joint contact point for cooperation with EUROPOL on the ground floor of the Friendship Building between Greece and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has been pending for years.
