VIDEO Suspect arrested for the murder of Senid Kulačić, accomplices remanded in custody

On Wednesday, March 9, in the night hours, suspect J.D. was arrested for the murder of Senid Kulačić (27), who sustained a thigh stab wound on March 7 and later died at the Cantonal Hospital Zenica, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Police teams consisting of members of the Special Police Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, the Criminal Police Sector, and the Crkvice Police Station apprehended and took into custody suspect D.J., born in 1979, according to the MUP ZDK.

After the completion of all evidence and information, as well as the criminal investigation and other measures and actions taken in accordance with the orders and instructions of the competent prosecutor, suspect D.J. will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Zenica-Doboj Canton along with a report on the committed criminal offense and the identification of the perpetrator, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of "Murder" under Article 166 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The MUP ZDK brought in two individuals the same night who were questioned about the circumstances under which this criminal offense was committed.

Kulačić was murdered the night before his 28th birthday. He was known to the public in Zenica as an athlete and had played for Čelik.

The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Zenica-Doboj Canton submitted a proposal to the Municipal Court in Zenica for the detention of suspects identified by initials K.K. and T.A. due to the existence of well-founded suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of aiding the perpetrator after the commission of the criminal offense, and the judge ordered one month of detention.

This duo destroyed part of the evidence, obstructed the investigation, and helped suspect J.D. to escape.
