A car bomb terrorist attack was carried out in Ankara yesterday, killing at least 28 people and injuring 61 when a military convoy was targeted in the center of the city, reports the Patria News Agency.
Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtukmus said the government would take all necessary measures to find the perpetrators.
It is not yet known who is behind the attack in the city center, which is home to at least five million inhabitants, but unofficial sources suggest that Turkish authorities blame the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). On the other hand, Kurdish sources told Reuters that the attack was most likely carried out by the Islamic State.
It did not take long for footage of the attack to emerge, and a video of the explosion recorded by a surveillance camera leaked last night. (el)
