On April 5, 1992, citizens of Sarajevo took to the streets in large numbers for anti-war demonstrations. Olga Sučić and Suada Dilberović were killed at Vrbanja Bridge that day, writes the Patria News Agency.
The former JNA demonstrated its power and attempted to instill fear in Sarajevans with a military plane that broke the sound barrier, thus forcing them to retreat to their homes.
