SARAJEVO, (Patria) - This is not a year that one of the greatest players of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo, will want to remember.
Big problems at Manchester United, leaving the English club, poor performances at the start of the World Cup, and then the decision of the Portugal coach to leave him on the bench at the start of the match against Switzerland and Morocco.
Morocco eliminated Portugal, and it is clear to Ronaldo that this was his last attempt to achieve something more on the world stage with the national team.
Therefore, his reaction after the match is expected, and footage of him leaving through the stadium tunnel in Qatar is going viral.
Like a small child, Ronaldo left the competition in Qatar in tears and announced his farewell from the big stage.
