Officials of the Democratic Party, Nataša Vučković, Dragan Šutanovac and Balša Božović were attacked today in the Belgrade neighborhood of Zvezdara during a pre-election rally, reports the news agency Patria.
A group of unidentified individuals physically assaulted them, as well as party activists, and a video recording captured the attack on Šutanovac.
Members of the Ministry of Interior are working intensively to shed light on the attack, the MUP announced in the meantime. The police will not tolerate attacks on members of any political party, and therefore we call on all citizens to refrain from any form of violence, the statement said, reports Tanjug.
