SDS Mayor of Bijeljina Ljubiša Petrović Verbally and Physically Attacked

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Bijeljina Police Station last night around 10:00 PM received a report that an unknown man physically and verbally attacked Ljubiša Petrović (SDS), the mayor of Bijeljina, in front of the City Administration building.

Through operational work, police officers learned that the person in question is D. M. from Bijeljina, who confirmed the allegations of the report, after which he was arrested.

The acting prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Bijeljina was informed about the incident, who stated that there are no elements of a criminal offense and that D.M. should be sanctioned for a misdemeanor.

After establishing all the facts and circumstances, legally prescribed measures and actions will follow against D.M., the police announced.
