On Friday and Saturday, July 8 and 9, leaders of 28 NATO allies and numerous partner countries will meet at the Warsaw Summit where they will make decisions together to improve NATO's security by strengthening it, and projecting stability beyond its current borders, writes Patria.
The organization will strengthen political and practical cooperation with Ukraine, Georgia, and the Republic of Moldova.
Since the last NATO summit in Wales in 2014, allies have undertaken the largest increase in collective defense since the Cold War period. Last year, Allies increased defense spending for the first time in many years. Today, NATO is faster, stronger, and ready for all challenges.
Fifty-eight official delegations will participate in the Warsaw summit. This includes all 28 NATO allies, Montenegro - whose NATO accession is currently undergoing ratification, 26 partner countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as representatives of the United Nations, the European Union, the World Bank, and the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Around 2,500 official delegates and 2,000 journalists will participate in this gathering.
