Chinese Interest in MS&WOOD Furniture from Fojnica

Representatives of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian furniture industry MS&WOOD („Majstori i Drvo“) visited one of the factories of the Chinese furniture manufacturer Huari, with the aim of establishing business cooperation. The Chinese furniture manufacturer Huari has 10 factories with 3,000 production workers, and possesses its own chain of furniture showrooms at 1,000 locations across China.

- We presented MS&WOOD. The Chinese reacted excellently to the quality and design of our furniture, especially to the fact that these are products that have won double awards at the prestigious Furniture Fair in Cologne. They were particularly fascinated by the fact that our furniture is included in this year's regular exhibition of the Triennale of Art and Design in Milan. They are very interested in buying our products. Our Chinese friends are attracted to the furniture we produce in Fojnica, which has high added value, demanding production segments, and original design - stated the director of MS&WOOD, Muhamed Pilav.

A delegation from the KS Government, along with a group of businessmen, traveled on a working visit to the People's Republic of China. The delegation attended the Third Summit of Leaders of Southeast Europe and China, in the city of Tangshan in Hebei province. The theme of this year's summit is "New Opportunities, New Spheres, New Space," and the goal is to strengthen friendly relations and cooperation between China and the countries of Southeast Europe.

Hebei province has 72 million inhabitants, and the city of Tangshan has 3.2 million inhabitants.
