High security measures around the BiH Parliament building due to New Year's concert

SARAJevo, (Patria) – Due to Zdravko Čolić's New Year's concert tonight in Sarajevo, protective fences have been erected around the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina building, and security has been further increased, as the concert will be held in the immediate vicinity of the Parliament.

Secretary of the Service Kenan Vehabović previously confirmed to Patria that they had requested enhanced control, i.e., physical and technical protection of the Parliament buildings from the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies during New Year's Eve.

It is interesting that the concert organizers have been announcing it all along for Trg BiH, the plateau in front of the Parliament, although the concert itself is held on the adjacent plateau, while any visit to Trg BiH tonight is strictly prohibited.
