MUP RS SEIZES 73 KG OF COCAINE AMONG GOODS IMPORTED INTO BIH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Administration for Organized and Serious Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska seized about 73 kilograms of cocaine in the Doboj area.

As announced by the MUP of RS, the drug was seized as part of activities to prevent and detect organized crime offenses.

The seized cocaine was transported to BiH hidden in a shipment of other ordered goods that were being imported into BiH.

The investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with partner agencies from European Union countries and Europol.

- Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska continue to take all legally prescribed measures and actions in order to shed light on the criminal offense of organized crime in connection with the illegal production and trafficking of narcotic drugs - it was announced from the MUP of RS.
