Major Operation "Visa": Three Arrested for Criminal Offenses

(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) today, 07/13/2019, launched an operational action codenamed "Visa". The action is being carried out on the orders of the Cantonal Court in Zenica and the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Zenica-Doboj Canton.

Searches of residential buildings in the Zenica-Doboj Canton are underway at a total of four locations, and so far three individuals have been deprived of liberty on grounds of reasonable suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of "Organized Crime" under Article 342, Paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in connection with the criminal offenses of "Forgery of Documents" under Article 373, Paragraph (2) and "Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs" under Article 238, Paragraph (1) of the same law. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH are assisting SIPA in carrying out the mentioned activities.

More information about the results of the operational action "Visa" will be known after the completion of the mentioned activities.
