Larger quantity of weapons and ammunition seized from man who threatened suicide

(Patria) - During a search in the Srebrenica area, weapons and ammunition were found with M. B., who was prevented from committing suicide, according to a police statement.

Members of the Srebrenica Police Station and the Skelani Police Station searched the house, auxiliary facilities, and vehicles owned by M. B. from the municipality of Srebrenica.

During the search, weapons and several rounds of ammunition were found and temporarily confiscated: a "Zastava" pistol and rifle, 473 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, an empty magazine for an automatic rifle and a "Scorpion", and a 10 m long slow-burning fuse.

It was previously reported on Saturday that M. B. was planning suicide, which was prevented by a swift reaction.

- Police officers conducted an investigation. An alcohol test revealed M. B. had 2.77 g/kg of alcohol in his body. He was arrested and a hunting rifle and 42 rounds of ammunition were temporarily confiscated from him - the police stated.
