SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Members of the Pale Fire Department successfully localized a fire in a building in Pale and rescued five people, the firefighting unit confirmed.
From the Pale Fire Brigade within the Territorial Fire and Rescue Unit of the City of East Sarajevo, they say that the fire in the building on Milan Simović Street engulfed several rooms and caused extensive material damage.
"We intervened at 2:45 a.m. on the street where a floor was burning. On that occasion, we rescued five people who could not escape the fire because the floor was partially destroyed," they stated from the Pale Fire Department.
More details about the cause of the fire will be known later.
