(Patria) - The US has imposed sanctions on Russian oil companies "Lukoil" and "Rosneft" due to alleged insufficient commitment to ending the Ukrainian conflict, the US Treasury Department announced.
The statement clarified that the sanctions were imposed by the Office of Foreign Assets Control at the Treasury Department.
The Department added that sanctions were also imposed on subsidiaries of Russian companies.
