Vasić: Cooperation with Russian police is a continuation of training we already had in America or with the French

At the beginning of April, the Minister of the Interior of the RS and the Director of the Police of the RS Dragan Lukač and Gojko Vasić agreed on cooperation with the Ministry of Interior of the Russian Federation, which will be realized through the training of members of the Special Unit of the Ministry of Interior of the RS, writes the Patria news agency.

Vasić told NAP that this is a standard international cooperation between police forces, which the Ministry of Interior of the RS has already had with the French.

-Several of our instructors will travel to Moscow and stay there to see how the members of the Support Unit conduct training in the training centers of the Russian Federation. If they select a specific segment of training, then a Russian instructor would come to Banja Luka and train our people, explains Vasić, adding that this is not about any arrival of special forces from Russia to intimidate anyone.

Members of the Ministry of Interior of the RS, he points out, have previously gone for training in America, and there has also been police cooperation with Israel.

The agreement on international police cooperation with the Russian Federation was signed last year.
