Vasić: 20 people took part in the attack on Vučić

The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has opened an investigation into the incident that occurred on July 11 in Potočari, and so far there is no information from this Bosnian judicial institution.

The head of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, Mirsad Vilić, is also silent, refusing to give statements to the media until the complete report is finished, writes the Patria news agency.

However, the director of the Republika Srpska Police, Gojko Vasić, is not silent. He told reporters in Banja Luka today that "there is progress in the investigation into the attempted murder and incitement to murder of the Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, in Potočari, in terms of identifying new individuals who can be reliably said to have participated in the attack."

-There are 20 people, some of whom have been identified, others not. We will exchange all data with colleagues from police agencies in BiH and Serbia, Vasić said.

Also, Vasić confirmed that the Special Prosecutor's Office of the RS has opened its own investigation, and that the police cannot influence who will lead it; it is up to the prosecutor's offices to agree. Currently, the RS police are submitting all information to the Special Prosecutor's Office of the RS.
