Vasić: Police are monitoring pedophiles

Director of the Republika Srpska Police Gojko Vasić stated that the arrest of a man in Banja Luka on suspicion of pedophilia represents regular police activity and that they are monitoring individuals involved in pedophilia, reports the Patria News Agency.

-We monitor individuals involved in pedophilia and pornography with elements of pedophilia and strive to prosecute them. Due to the protection of victims, as well as the perpetrator, we cannot disclose their identity to the public, Vasić told reporters.

A forty-nine-year-old Banja Luka resident, identified by the initials M.B., was arrested in Banja Luka on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of satisfying sexual urges in front of others and illegal production and trafficking of weapons or explosives.
