(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina will consider the Draft Law on the Budget of BiH Institutions and International Obligations for 2020 at an extraordinary session today, proposed by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH.
Minister of Finance and Treasury Vjekoslav Bevanda recently reminded that the Decision on Temporary Financing for the first quarter is in effect until April 1st this year and that all payments are within legal frameworks, but that temporary financing has certain limitations.
Bevanda expects that after the statement of the Council of Ministers of BiH, the draft budget will be sent to the constitutional proposer - the Presidency of BiH, and then to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, which has the final say.
High Representative in BiH Valentin Inzko, in a press release yesterday, among other things, emphasized the importance of adopting the Budget for 2020 for the fight against coronavirus.
According to the announcement published by the Council of Ministers of BiH, the session today should also consider the Proposal of the Decision on temporary suspension of visa issuance at diplomatic-consular missions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Proposal of the Decision on amendments and additions to the Decision on prescribing additional conditions for the entry of foreigners into Bosnia and Herzegovina.
