Extraordinary Session of the House of Representatives of FBiH: Election of New Leadership, Budget Rebalance, then Veterans

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The election of new leadership is the first item on the agenda of the fourth extraordinary session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, which will be held today in Sarajevo.

The Commission for Election and Appointment of this house met on Monday, and Mirsad Zaimović from SDA was proposed as the Speaker of the House of Representatives. HDZ member Mladen Bošković was proposed as the Deputy Speaker, after which the session was adjourned at Bošković's request, because, as he said, the Deputy Speaker from the Serb people could also be elected today. 

After the new parliamentary majority elects the leadership of the FBiH Parliament, the representatives should consider the Proposal of the Decision on Amendments and Supplements to the FBiH Budget for 2019 by urgent procedure, and by the same procedure, the Proposal of the Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Execution of the FBiH Budget for this year. 

The last item on the agenda will be the Proposal of the Law on the Rights of Demobilized Veterans and their Families. This proposed law should also be considered by urgent procedure. 

The session begins at 10:00 AM, and in two days the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament will also meet, which will consider the same laws, because without the support of both houses, they cannot proceed.
