Extraordinary session of the SDP Presidency: Prosecution should start doing its job!

(Patria) - Regarding the current situation in BiH, which threatens the disintegration of the country, withdrawal from institutions, and even war, an extraordinary session of the SDP Presidency was held in Sarajevo.

At the session, a set of more than 30 conclusions was adopted, which specified, among other things, what the SDP will do regarding the current situation in BiH.

"I am proud of today's SDP Presidency session. We are trying to act proactively, we are trying to find interlocutors with whom we could influence the calming of the crisis in BiH, while the government remains silent. We see that Dodik is talking to many, so I wonder what our diplomacy is doing. What are the other two members of the BiH Presidency doing. Although, we see that Bakir Izetbegović has certain meetings. However, what are the other two members of the Presidency doing, or are they letting Bakir lead their policy," emphasized the president of SDP, Nermin Nikšić.

"SDP is in opposition to the corrupt government, but we will not be in opposition to Bosnia and Herzegovina. I want to emphasize that tomorrow in the BiH Parliament we will have a meeting of the presidents of the heads of clubs and delegates in the House of Peoples from opposition parties. The desire is to coordinate actions and not to be individually exposed to pressure. Absolute support for the OHR and Schmidt's actions. A demand to immediately cease the blockade of institutions and to return decision-making to the system's institutions. Party representatives have no business talking to representatives of the international community when there are living deputies," stated Nikšić.

Denis Bećirović, vice-president of SDP, said that we should not lie to the people in this country and that we should warn that there is indeed a danger from such destructive policy led by Milorad Dodik and SNSD.

"We must be prepared to respond, and when I say respond adequately, I mean the state bodies of BiH and the responsible bodies of the international community according to the DMS. In that sense, we also talked about what they should do. Among other things, one of the conclusions states that it is high time for state authorities to start doing their job, primarily the Prosecutor's Office, because there are already enough elements that it is a criminal offense of attack on the constitutional order, and there is also a well-founded suspicion of other criminal offenses," said Bećirović.

He added that political extremists are not stronger than the state of BiH.
