Extraordinary session of the FBiH Parliament: Will the Chinese build the Banovići Power Plant Block 1-350 MW

The House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament will convene an extraordinary session today starting at 4 PM, with one item on the agenda: Information on activities regarding the selection of a strategic partner for the financing and construction of the Banovići Power Plant Block 1-350 MW, the third phase of the tender procedure, reports the news agency Patria correspondent.

We remind you that the Government of the Federation of BiH accepted the Information on activities regarding the selection of a strategic partner for the financing and construction of the Banovići Power Plant, Block 1-350 MW – Third phase of the tender procedure, prepared by the "Banovići" Lignite Mine, on August 28.

At the session of the FBiH Government, preliminary approval was given at the time for the proposed selection of the bidder – the Chinese company "Dongfang Electric Corporation Limited DEC", and the FBiH Parliament will make the final decision on the matter.
