Return visit: Turković in Russia at Lavrov's invitation

(Patria) - Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković is visiting Russia, and today she will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.

Minister Turković was welcomed last night at the airport by representatives of the MFA of the Russian Federation and the Deputy Mayor of Sochi.

This is a return visit at the invitation of Minister Lavrov, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Russian Federation.

During the visit, the ministers will discuss bilateral relations, economic and cultural cooperation, and the current situation in both countries.

After the meeting of the ministers, a meeting of the delegations of the two foreign ministries, led by Turković and Lavrov, will be held, followed by a press conference.

Lavrov visited BiH in December 2020.
