(Patria) - An armed 14-year-old entered a primary school in the center of Belgrade this morning around 8 AM and started shooting, killing several students and injuring several others. Several are wounded, and he also killed the school guard and seriously wounded the history teacher.
According to unofficial information, the student entered a history class and started shooting at the students.
One injured child is on the operating table, two are in intensive care, and medical assistance is being provided to the other injured.
Belgrade police have arrested the minor who opened fire in the primary school. After the shooting, the armed minor fled the school but was arrested shortly thereafter. There is a large police presence in front of the school, along with three ambulances. Parents of the children who were in class today have also arrived.
Given the ongoing investigation and conflicting information regarding the number of casualties and injured, all relevant information will be released to the public through the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia.
