With SIPA's help, German police solve murder after 27 years

While undertaking measures and activities to document criminal offenses being investigated within the case codenamed „Lutka“ (Doll), the State Investigation and Protection Agency (hereinafter: SIPA) provided the police authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany with data on the identity of the person who committed the criminal offense of murder. The said criminal offense was committed in 1990 in the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany.

After checks were carried out in the Federal Republic of Germany, the identity of the perpetrator of the criminal offense was confirmed, and the murder committed 27 years ago was solved. The said person was the subject of SIPA's work within the „Lutka“ (Doll) case. SIPA has submitted a report to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH against the mentioned person regarding criminal offenses committed in the territory of BiH.

The SIPA investigation team codenamed „Lutka“ (Doll) is actively continuing its work with the aim of solving a large number of murders, robberies, extortion, and other serious criminal offenses, and new results are expected in the coming period.

The information provided by SIPA was crucial for the investigation in the Federal Republic of Germany, and SIPA has once again shown that it is a key partner in international police cooperation in the most complex cases.
