SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina informs the public that the first consignment of paper for printing ballots for the General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be held on Sunday, 02.10.2022, has been transported from the company SPM-Security Papers s.r.o. from the Czech Republic.
The first consignment of paper for printing ballots was transported, under police escort and supervision, as well as accompanied and controlled by authorized persons from the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to the company „Unioninvestplastika“ d.d. Sarajevo, which will carry out the services of printing and packaging the ballots.
For the printing of approximately 14 million ballots, 120 tons of paper are being procured.
The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will inform the public in a timely manner about the start of ballot printing.
