
Those arrested in the "Rez" operation, Elvir Muratović, Kemal Murić, Zulfo Alajbegović, Semir Salković, Edin Tabaković, Darko Peco, Elvir Mašić and Adis Kešan will be released today, confirmed Fahrija Karkin, lawyer representing the suspect Muratović, to N1, reports the Patria News Agency.
As Karkin stated, the eight suspects will be released today with restrictive measures.
Sadik Hota, lawyer for Edin Tabaković, confirmed to N1 that the mentioned individuals will be subject to measures prohibiting them from leaving their place of residence, regular reporting to the police, confiscation of passports, and travel outside the country.
In the "Rez" operation, carried out on December 22nd under the order of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, 11 people were arrested in connection with the criminal offense of terrorism and financing of terrorism, preparation of a criminal offense, incitement of individuals to go to foreign battlefields, and in connection with the violation of the Law on Freedom of Religion and the Legal Status of Churches and Religious Communities in BiH.
In addition to the aforementioned eight individuals, Bilal Dervišić, Nermin Ćuprija, and Admir Ahmetović were also arrested in the operation, for whom no detention was proposed and who were previously released.
During the operation, carried out by members of the Federal Police Administration with the support of partner police agencies and the Intelligence-Security Agency, 13 locations in the Sarajevo Canton area were searched.
