Proposed FBiH Budget for 2015 and Law on its Execution Determined

The Government of the Federation of BiH, at today's session in Sarajevo, unanimously determined and sent to urgent parliamentary procedure the Proposal of the FBiH Budget for 2015, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The Proposal of the FBiH Budget for 2015 amounts to 2,334,147,169 convertible marks, which is 141.4 million KM or 5.7 percent less compared to the Budget for 2014. Compared to the Draft, determined at the 137th session of the FBiH Government held on 29.10.2014, in the amount of 2,345,247,169 KM, the Proposal of the Budget for 2015 determined today is 11.1 million KM lower.

The structure of the expenditure side reflects the implementation of restrictive public spending measures, which is one of the priorities of economic policy in the coming years. Fiscal policy will also in 2015 be oriented towards activities that will contribute to the economic and social strengthening of the Federation of BiH, i.e., the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this regard, strict austerity measures have been continued in all segments of public spending.

Today, the Proposal of the Law on the Execution of the FBiH Budget for 2015 was also sent to urgent parliamentary procedure.

Decisions on the financial plans of extra-budgetary funds for 2015 were also sent to the Federal Parliament for adoption under urgent procedure: the Health Insurance and Reinsurance Fund of FBiH, the Federal Solidarity Fund, the Professional Service of the Health Insurance and Reinsurance Fund of FBiH, and the Federal Employment Bureau.
